My friend Niel posted this in his Facebook account today.
"We must get our hearts broken, sometimes. This is a good sign, having a broken heart. It means we have tried for something."
---"Eat, Pray, Love", Elizabeth Gilbert
I replied.
"We must heal our broken hearts at some point in time. That is the best sign. It means we will try again, someday."

Great contrast: the reactive and the proactive. The looking back and looking forward.
Pain is good. It reminds us of our humanity. And that we still feel, and thusly have something to lose. Or gain.
Pain never really leaves us. We only learn, from our chronologies and through our own fortitude, a method by which it becomes livable, bearable. And ultimately, symbiotically, acceptable.
PAK!!!
touche.
We can pick at our wounds, or lick them.

Pain, heal, recuperate.
amen!ako nga parang gusto ko na nasasaktan lagi. mas nagiging creative ako, hehe.
that time would come..hopefully soon
better in time 'to. =)
And when that time comes, we flick our hair back and do that very strut Eartha Kitt did when she walked out of America and stumped her feet in Paris.
Tigilan ang jadedness.
oh i read the book. it was a gift from a good friend, Mayumi Sato, when i was still in an ongoing battle with my just-recently-ended-abusive-relationship to help me get some perspective. it did, yes, helped. so inspiring. can't wait to see it in theaters.
I don't think broken hearts ever truly heal. I do believe they can be mended though. Scars are left to remind you of what not to look for in a lover. Woe to the heart who falls for the same crap more than once! =)
